Thank You World

Optimism is really shining through today so I would like to take a moment to thank you, the world, for the things that made me happy today.

1. Coffee
2. Pooping
3. Writing a magazine story
4. Losing to Professor Case in chess
5. Lifting with my friends
6. Chatting with my girlfriend

Thank you world! You've been friendly to me today!

Six-Shooter (6 word stories)

So, the point is to tell an entire story in six words. Ernest Hemingway claimed the greatest story he ever wrote was six words long.
For Sale: baby shoes, never worn. -Ernest Hemingway

1. Fast Car. Curvy Road. Closed Casket.

2. Tiptoed across frozen lake and suddenly

3. Cook, Chew, Swallow, Wait. Grunt! Flush.

Mat Men

My brother recently finished his high school wrestling career and he doesn't plan on wrestling in college, which would therefore put an end to the Hodges family wrestling tradition, unless we breed some more mat men. It's kind of sad really. Wrestling has been a huge part of all our lives. Anyway, here our some stats that I have compiled taking into account my dad's, my brother's, and my own high school and AAU wrestling stats.

4x Crawfordsville 8-Way Invitational Champion
10x Montgomery County Champion
8x Sagamore Conference Champion
8x Sectional Champion
5x Regional Champion
4x Semi-State Placer (1st, 2nd, 2nd, 3rd)
4x IHSAA State Placer (2nd, 5th, 5th, 7th)
2x ISWA Folkstyle State Champion
1x ISWA Freestyle State Champion
1x High School Folkstyle National Champion
High School Record: 299 wins 43 losses 87% winning percentage
